BEHIND THE MUSIC: Monet is one of those people who just radiate. This song was one of our first songs written together. The chorus melody was originally supposed to be a verse, but I convinced her that it was too strong and unique to just be a verse. Her lyrics are great. When she performs this with her group she changes tempos between the verse and chorus - its very cool.
