BEHIND THE MUSIC: This was the first song that me and Selan wrote together. I had these chord changes for a few years, and I had been dying to do something with them. He came over and almost immediately hit on that beautiful melody. We wrote almost the whole thing in just a couple of hours. This was about a month after Hurricane Katrina hit, and that is reflected in the lyrics.
