BEHIND THE MUSIC: One night I got message on my voicemail. It was Maya saying "Christian, write something to this chorus. Are you ready? WARRIORS, COME OUT AND PLAY-EE-AY-YAY" I sat on that for months. Finally one night I just hit on it and I knew it was right. Then we worked out the verses, which are really cool and middle-eastern inspired. Her rap section is some next-level shit. There's nobody spitting anything like that out there.
